Valuables Stolen from Insecure Vehicles in Castleford

A dash cam, loose change, and vehicle documents were stolen from two insecure vehicles on Poplar Avenue and Holywell Avenue in the early hours of Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 February.

Please ensure all valuables are removed from view or stored securely in the boot, and always check that your vehicle is locked by testing the door handle. 

Unfolded electric wing mirrors may indicate an unlocked vehicle, and offenders are known to look for this.

Thefts can occur anywhere — in car parks, on the roadside, or on private driveways.
